EasyJet's group finance director, Jeff Carr, is leaving the budget carrier to join UK transport firm FirstGroup.

The airline says that while the date of his departure is still not confirmed, it is beginning a recruitment process to appoint a successor.

EasyJet has also named Indonesian carrier Mandala Airlines' former chief, Warwick Brady, as its new procurement director.

Brady will join the UK operator on 6 May. His previous roles include chief operating officer of India's Air Deccan, and he used to head Ryanair's London Stansted operations.
