Eclipse is now fitting its VLJ with twin Garmin GPS 400W GPS units. Eclipse says the units provide en-route and terminal navigational guidance with autopilot coupling; WAAS capability for coupled autopilot localiser performance and vertical guidance approaches; flight path overlay integrated on Avio NG’s navigational displays; and integrated navigational source selection.
Eclipse chief executive Vern Raburn says: “The addition of the Garmin GPS units provides Eclipse 500 customers with a comprehensive GPS navigations solution.”
