Eclipse Aviation has mated the fuselage of the first production Eclipse 500 very light jet. Another five customer aircraft are at various stages of assembly and the Albuquerque, New Mexico-based company says it remains on track for US Federal Aviation Administration certification at the end of July. Flight-testing of five Eclipses passed the 2,000h-mark at the end of May.
