Aegean Airlines and EgyptAir have signed a new codeshare agreement.

From 27 October, EgyptAir will place its code on Aegean flights from Athens to Chania, Heraklion, Rhodes and Salonika.

Aegean will add its code to EgyptAir services linking Alexandria and Cairo with the Greek capital.

"The co-operation with Aegean Airlines will not only enhance EgyptAir’s network worldwide, but also enhance traffic on Egypt’s domestic destinations through increasing frequencies and traffic on these destinations, especially Cairo, Sharm el Sheikh, Hurghada, Luxor and Aswan," says EgyptAir chief executive Hossam Kamal.
