Egyptair has extended its Totalcare services agreement with Rolls-Royce for the Trent 700 engines powering its fleet of Airbus A330 aircraft.

The $350 million deal covers eight A330s already in service at Egyptair and four additional aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2010 and 2011.

"The Trent 700 has proven itself in service as an effective solution for our A330 fleet in terms of both economics and the environment, proving itself particularly resilient when operating in hot or high altitude locations," says Egyptair Maintenance and Engineering chief executive Abdel Aziz Fadel.
