Embraer Brasilia runs off runway in Gabon

Embraer has confirmed an EMB-120 Brasilia turboprop operated by Verifly Aviation ran off the runway at Port Gentil airport in Gabon.

The airframer stated the incident happened on 12 October.

Preliminary information indicates that 25 people were on board and that no one was seriously injured, said Embraer.

The turboprop aircraft's serial number is 120.245 and its tail number is ZS-PYO.

"Embraer has already made contact with local authorities and will send a technical team to accompany the investigation of this incident," said the airframer.
