Embraer deliveries dropped to 19 commercial aircraft in the third quarter.

The Brazilian regional jet manufacturer delivered 27 aircraft in the same period last year.

The deliveries in the third quarter this year included nine Embraer 190s, nine E-175s and one E-170.

Last year, the company delivered 17 E-190s, seven E-175s and three E-195s during the same period.

Deliveries year to date are also down significantly, although Embraer’s peak cycle for shipments is usually in the fourth quarter.

Embraer delivered 58 commercial aircraft in the third quarter, down 30% compared to the same period a year ago.

On the other hand, Embraer delivered almost twice the number of executive jets in the third quarter compared to last year. Shipments rose from 13 a year ago to 25 this year, including six Phenom 100s, 15 Phenom 300s and four Legacy 650s.

The Legacy 650 is a business jet derivative of the ERJ-135 fuselage and the ERJ-145 cockpit.

Embraer's firm order backlog grew during the quarter by $700 million to $17.8 billion.
