Libyan energy company Sirte Oil has been named as the customer for an Embraer 170. The deal, previously listed on the Brazilian airframer's backlog as an undisclosed order, is the first sale of an Embraer type to Libya. Sirte Oil, a subsidiary of Libya's National Oil Corporation, is to take delivery of the 76-seat regional jet in March.
