Middle Eastern carrier Emirates has selected Eaton Corporation to provide engine-driven pumps and AC motor pumps for its 43 newly-ordered Boeing 777s.

The aircraft will be delivered through to 2014.

Under the contract, Eaton will provide engine-driven pumps and related support services for the 777s.

The company will also provide support services for the same units installed on the airline's current 777 fleet. Engine-driven pumps and AC motor pumps generate hydraulic power for the aircraft.

In addition, Eaton will supply support services for the new and currently installed units, ranging from product selection, repair and upgrade to allocation of logistic spare stock at the airline's main base of operations in Dubai.

Terms of the contract have not been disclosed.
