Emirates to launch services to Adelaide and Warsaw

Emirates will be launching services to Adelaide and Warsaw, after having earlier announced its plans to launch services to Lyon.

The Dubai-Adelaide service will be launched on 1 November with four times weekly flights, which will be increased to a daily service from 1 February 2013. The airline will also increase its current twice daily service to Perth to 19 times weekly from 1 December, becoming a thrice daily operation from 1 March 2013.

Regarding the airline's plans for its services to Australia, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airline & Group, says: "We will also grow capacity to Melbourne with the introduction of daily A380 services in October, in addition to our existing double decker flight into Sydney."

The airline will also launch a daily service on the Dubai-Warsaw route on 6 February 2013.
