Embraer will deliver China's first Embraer Phenom 300 business jet during the third quarter of 2013.
The aircraft, which received type certification by the Civil Aviation Administration of China in November 2012, will be delivered to Erdos General Aviation.
"It's a great honour to be the first customer of the Phenom 300 in China, marking the beginning of our partnership with Embraer Executive Jets," says Erdos General Aviation president Shang Zhanhu. "After comprehensive studies of the jet, we are confident the Phenom 300 is ideally suited to our customers' needs for interior comfort and operating efficiency."
The Phenom 300 can accommodate up to 11 people in a standard configuration and is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535-E engines. It has a range of 1,971nm (3,650km) based on NBAA IFR fuel reserves.
In the Asia-Pacific region, the aircraft has been certificated for registration in Australia, Indonesia, India and the Philippines.
Embraer adds that it has firm orders for 31 business aircraft, including the Phenom 300, Legacy 600 and 650, and Lineage 1000 types, from customers in China.
