Embraer hopes to win UK Civil Aviation Authority approval this week for ERJ-135 and Legacy business jet operations at London City Airport (LCA). To accommodate LCA's 5.5° steep approach an autopilot programming switch must be installed in the ERJ's cockpit. The approval will clear the way for Irish regional airline JetMagic to begin ERJ-135 services to the London airport from Cork.
