Estonian Air is to start operating to London City from the first quarter of 2013, opening services to the downtown airport from its Tallinn base.
It will use its newly-acquired Embraer 190s on the route, which will be serve thrice-weekly from 1 March.
Estonian Air says it will increase the weekly frequency to four from 2 May and to six from 1 June.
Its aircraft will be configured with 112 seats. "London has been an important destination of the Estonian Air network and we wanted to improve the current schedule, with two weekly flights, with a more frequent one," says chief executive Tero Taskila.
"Our new flight plan suits considerably better the business travellers, by making the connection between the two capitals not only more frequent, but also shorter in duration."
