Ethiopian Airlines has launched non-stop services from Mekele and Bahirdar to the Sudanese capital, Khartoum.

The carrier operates the four times weekly service using Bombardier Q400 aircraft.

According to the Innovata schedules, Ethiopian Airlines is the sole carrier to operate nonstop Bahirdar-Khartoum service. No other carrier operates nonstop flights on the Mekele-Khartoum route.

The service launched on 13 October.
