Etihad Cargo carried 32,600t of freight in January, up 27% compared with the same month last year.
The growth during the reporting month was largely due to increased demand in and out of China and India.
Cargo tonnage for 2012 rose by 19% against a capacity increase of 14%.
Etihad Cargo operates a fleet of two Boeing 777Fs, one Boeing 747-400F, two Airbus A330-200Fs and one A300-600.
It will receive one additional Boeing 777F and two Airbus A330-200Fs in 2013 and 2014.
