Etihad upgrades A320 engines

Etihad Airways is upgrading the International Aero Engines V2500 powerplants of its Airbus A320-family narrowbody fleet.

The Abu Dhabi-based carrier says it will purchase 73 V2500 "SelectTwo" modification kits to cover the engines powering 35 aircraft, plus three spares.

Deliveries of the relevant aircraft began in 2007.
