Etihad Airways has deepened its co-operation with Mubadala Aerospace MRO unit SR Technics by extending its Integrated Component Services contract to cover the Abu Dhabi-based carrier's Boeing 777 fleet.

Under the 10-year agreement SR Technics, part of Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala Aerospace's MRO network, will continue to provide component support services for Etihad's Airbus A320, A330 and A340 fleets as well as its 777. The contract cover 72 aircraft including future deliveries.

Mubadala's spare engine and component financing and leasing company, Sanad Aero Solutions, is also closely involved through a previously announced 10-year sales and leaseback deal with Etihad for rotable component spares.
