Polish regional carrier EuroLOT has agreed a sale and leaseback transaction for the first three Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft from its eight-aircraft order.
The Warsaw-based carrier closed the three aircraft deal with leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital.
The first aircraft, MSN 4406, was delivered on to EuroLOT last week. The other two are MSNs 4407 and 4408 on 22 May.
In February EuroLOT opted to renew its ATR turboprop fleet with the Q400 Next Gen model in a 78-seat configuration. It also placed six options for the type. EuroLOT has a fleet of 14 ATRs comprising 10 ATR 72-200s and four 42-500s.
Late last month Nordic Aviation Capital acquired five new ATR 72-600s from Air Nostrum through a purchase and leaseback agreement.
The first aircraft, MSN 995, was delivered in April. The second aircraft, MSN 999, was ATR's 1000th delivery. The remaining three are expected through August. The ATR 72-600 will be leased back to Air Nostrum for a period of eight years.
