An EVA Air Airbus A330-200 knocked out a runway light during a landing incident at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport on 26 February.

The aircraft, registration B-16303, was landing after a flight from Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport at 22:49hr when it deviated from the runway centre line, says Taiwan's Aviation Safety Council, which is investigating the incident.

The A330's main landing gear wheel crashed into a runway light, says the council. No one was hurt in the incident and the aircraft was not damaged, it adds.

The council has retrieved the aircraft's flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder and has assembled a team to look into the incident, it says.
