Taiwan's EVA Air and Bangkok Airways have started code-sharing on domestic flights within Thailand.

EVA has placed its code on the Thai carrier's flights between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Koh Samui and Phuket, says EVA.

"Long-haul flight passengers from North America and Europe can easily connect onward to Bangkok to take advantage of the new code-share service with one stop in Taipei," it adds.

EVA operates between Taipei and Bangkok 16 times a week. Most of the flights continue on to Europe after stopping in Bangkok, says EVA.
