Finnair has announced the appointment of Klaus Heinemann on its board of directors at its annual general meeting.
Heinemann was the chief executive officer of AerCap Holdings between April 2003 and May 2011.
Last year he established Hansestadt Hamburg Kapital (HH Kapital), a trading company for aviation financial products. Last September Heinemann joined SkyWorks Holdings' global advisory board
The Finnair's new board of directors is composed of seven members: Maija-Liisa Friman, Klaus W. Heinemann, Jussi Itävuori, Merja Karhapää, Harri Kerminen, Gunvor Kronman and Harri Sailas. All members were elected for a one-year term.
