Mongolia's Eznis Airways has taken delivery of its first Boeing 737-700 from leasing firm International Lease Finance Corp (ILFC).
The aircraft will be used to expand Eznis Airways' international operations and serve the country's rapidly growing air traffic demand, says ILFC.
The length of the aircraft's lease was not specified.
"The addition of the Boeing 737-700 to our fleet marks an important strategic milestone for Eznis Airways. This new aircraft will allow us to provide quality service on international routes from Ulan Bator," says Eznis Airways' chief executive Munkhsukh Sukhbaatar.
In addition, Eznis Airways plans to take delivery of two Bombardier Q400 aircraft in the third quarter of this year. It will operate the aircraft to regional and domestic destinations.
Eznis Airways operates a fleet of four Saab 340s, two BAE Systems Avro RJ85s and one Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
