Dassault has confirmed an increase in range, to 11,000km (5,950nm), for the Falcon 7X large business jet as a result of fitting drag-reducing winglets and installing a new fuel tank forward of the wing centre section, increasing fuel capacity by 800kg (1,760lb) to 14,490kg. Maximum take-off weight has been increased 10% to 31,300kg, increasing payload with maximum fuel by more than 50%. Dassault has orders for 84 Falcon 7Xs, deliveries of which are set to begin in April next year.
