Air Astana will further develop its Embraer 190 fleet with the addition of three aircraft from BOC Aviation under an operating lease agreement.
The Kazakh carrier currently operates four E-190s on leases from Jetscape and Air Lease.
Under the terms of the leasing agreement with BOC Aviation, the first aircraft will deliver in spring next year. The remaining two aircraft will join in spring 2014.
The transaction marks the first time that BOC Aviation has worked with Air Astana.
According to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database, Air Astana is also due to take two more E-190s this year from its orderbook with Embraer. Another two aircraft are on option.
