Boeing is not expecting to announce any more 737 Max orders from leasing companies at the Farnborough air show, following a hat-trick of lessor commitments over the past two days for a total of 195 aircraft.
Ray Conner, chief executive of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, says: "Operating lessors are clearly big players in the single-aisle market. They provide a number of opportunities for airlines and their portfolios are diverse."
Conner confirms Boeing is working on additional campaigns with lessors, but none are expected to be finalised at the show.
"We are discussions with different lessors, one of which is Aviation Capital Group. We are working on finalising the terms with them," says Conner.
