Qatar Airways is to fit the cockpits of its Airbus A350s and A380s with a dual head-up display system supplied by Thales.
The agreement has been confirmed at the Farnborough air show.
"We are dedicated to providing our fleet with the latest technological innovation," says Qatar flight operations office chief Capt Suhail Isameel.
Thales Avionics says the head-up display is a "major situational awareness contributor", improving pilots' visibility during critical flight phases.
Qatar Airways has 80 A350s on order and last year raised its A380 order to 10.
It will also start taking delivery of 60 Boeing 787s this year, which are fitted with dual head-up displays as standard.
