Thomas Cook Group has chosen Rockwell Collins's multiscan threat detection system and GLU-925 multimode receiver for its new Airbus A320 and A321 fleet. The airline expects to receive the aircraft starting in 2013.
Rockwell Collins's multiscan threat detection system automatically detects weather threats and more than 4,100 systems currently fly on over 145 airlines. The GLU-925 is the first multimode receiver certified for precision landing using global navigation satellite systems or instrument landing systems.
