Eighteen of the 30 Boeing 777-300ERs ordered by Emirates at the Farnborough Air Show had already been listed on the airframer's books.

The twin-jets had been attributed to an unidentified customer, Boeing confirms, through an order signed on 30 April this year.

Another batch of 12 777-300ER aircraft, ordered on 12 April, remains unattributed, although the Middle Eastern publication Asharq Al-Awsat reports that Saudi Arabian Airlines is behind the agreement.

It cites airline industry sources as saying that the aircraft, with 348 seats, will be delivered next year.
