Finnair has entered negotiations with GA Telesis about the possible sale of part of its engine service operations.

The airline says GA Telesis would continue to run engine service operations - previously earmarked for closure - at Helsinki airport.

It cautions, however, that there is no guarantee the early-stage discussions will lead to an actual deal.

Plans to source engine and component services from maintenance firm SR Technics are not affected, Finnair notes.
