Finnair is to operate daily flights to Delhi, beginning 6 January.

Following its frequency increase to Osaka, Nagoya and Seoul at the end of 2010, the Oneworld carrier will also boost operations on the Hong Kong route.

Additionally, the airline is to operate daily to Singapore, from its Helsinki base from 30 May.

Mika Perho, Finnair's senior vice-president commercial division says: "Growth is excellent in our main strategy area, namely Asia-Europe traffic. We have gradually increased flights to a number of Asian destinations, the latest being Delhi."

The carrier says it will fly around 74 flights per week to 10 Asian cities during the summer season.
