Finnair will join Japan Airlines and British Airways in their joint business on routes between Europe and Japan on 1 April after the tie-up was approved by Japanese regulators.

The three Oneworld alliance partners will share revenue and co-operate on scheduling and pricing between Japan and Europe.

Last October, Japanese regulators gave approval to the airlines’ plans to include Finnair in the venture, which was established by BA and JAL in 2012, and in February the three airlines began selling joint fares on select routes for travel after April 1.
