Malaysia Airlines' (MAS) subsidiary Firefly has indefinitely postponed the launch of its Subang-Hat Yai service due to the bomb blasts in the Thai city over the weekend.

Bombs blasts in Yala and Hat Yai on 31 March resulted in several deaths. Several countries have issued travel warnings, asking their citizens to avoid travel to the cities in Southern Thailand.

Firefly was due to start operations on the service on 2 May, but it says in a statement that this will now begin only when the situation is normal once again.
