Malaysia Airlines subsidiary Firefly plans to launch four times weekly Kota Bharu-Singapore and thrice weekly Penang-Koh Samui services starting from 10 and 11 August respectively.
It will also restart its four times weekly Subang-Hat Yai service on 17 August, after it was suspended in May as a safety measure, says the carrier.
The airline will operate ATR 72-500 aircraft on the three routes.
In addition, Firefly will increase frequencies of eight of its services from 10 August onwards.
Firefly will also increase the frequency of its Subang-Kota Bharu and Subang-Langkawi services to 58 times weekly and 19 times weekly respectively.
Its Penang-Kota Bharu and Kota Bharu-Johor Bahru services will be made available daily, up from thrice weekly. Its Subang-Johor Bahru and Subang-Penang services will increase to 25 times weekly and 66 times weekly respectively.
