Malaysia Airlines' subsidiary Firefly will raise frequencies on two of its routes out of Kuala Lumpur's secondary airport Subang.
It will add two and 11 weekly frequencies on the Subang-Penang and Subang-Kota Bharu routes respectively. This will take place from 19 August, says the carrier.
Firefly will use ATR 72 turboprops on the additional services.
Innovata schedules shows that Firefly now operates 62 times a week on the Subang-Kota Bharu route and 85 times a week on the Subang-Penang route. It also competes with Malindo Air on the two routes.
