Malaysia Airlines' subsidiary Firefly is planning to increase its Subang-Johor Bahru frequency starting 19 February 2013.

The turboprop operator will increase its frequency from 28 to 31 times weekly and it will use ATR72-500 aircraft on the route, says its spokeswoman.

Firefly has also raised its Subang-Penang frequency from 72 to 77 times weekly.

Innovata Schedules show that Firefly is the only operator on the two routes.

Subang is Kuala Lumpur's secondary airport.
