Boeing's KC-767 tanker-transport has performed its first dry contact with a receiving aircraft during a trial sortie flown from the US Air Force's Edwards AFB in California. The aircraft - destined for Italy - performed the work with its fly-by-wire refuelling boom connecting to a USAF Boeing B-52. Additional testing of the boom and wing refuelling pods will be performed.
