FL Technics Training has been approved to qualify maintenance engineers for Bombardier CRJ100 and CRJ200-series aircraft.
Lithuania's civil aviation administration certificated the training division of the Vilnius-based maintenance provider on behalf of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to offer type rating courses for technicians for the CL-600-2B19 family of regional jets.
The approval covers airframe, engine and component maintenance work. It comes after the company started supporting the type in August 2011.
FL Technics says it trains around 2,000 engineers a year.
