Lithuanian maintenance provider FL Technics is tearing down four Bombardier CRJ-200s to establish a component stock for the regional jet.

The Vilnius-based company bought the aircraft via Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based GA Telesis, which managed them on behalf of US bank Wells Fargo.

FL Technics did not disclose the previous operators of the 50-seater jets, but it says that they will be torn down locally in the USA over the next three to four months.

The approximately 2,300 parts and components will be stocked at warehouses in Europe.
