Today is World Sight Day and in the first podcast Andrew Costerton visits the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital. The Flying Eye Hospital is an ex-Laker Airways McDonnell Douglas DC-10-10 converted into a flying teaching hospital. Costeron caught up with the crew while it was in Dubai during the recent Routes airline scheduling conference. The charity behind the aircraft trains eye doctors in the developing world.
