Reed Exhibitions, a sister company of Flight, has acquired the events of the aviation division of international events organiser UKIP Media & Events, which includes the annual Aircraft Interiors Expo.
The acquisition covers all six events of UKIP Media & Events’ aviation division, says Reed Exhibitions.
It says the two main events are the Aircraft Interiors Expo, which takes place in Hamburg in April; and the Aerospace Testing Europe Expo, in Munich in March.
Others include an aircraft interiors event in Hong Kong in September and a design and testing event in the US state of California in November.
“The acquired exhibitions serve the aerospace industry, a sector which Reed Exhibitions views as significant for strategic development, and in which it has already achieved a global presence through events such as Asian Aerospace International Expo and Congress, Helitech and Aviation Expo Latin America,” says Reed Exhibitions.
Aircraft Interiors Expo Asia will be co-located with the Asian Aerospace show in Hong Kong in September.
