UK regional operator Flybe is to double the number of aircraft conducting contract flights for Brussels Airlines, by deploying another pair of Bombardier Q400s.
Flybe disclosed a contract agreement with the Lufthansa-affiliated Belgian carrier in March, and two Q400s have already been provided to the airline.
These will be joined by a third from September and a fourth in late October, under a two-year agreement.
Flybe says the Q400s will come with pilots, cabin crew and engineering support, and will be painted in Brussels Airlines colours.
The Brussels Airlines deal means that, along with the flying being carried out for Finnair, about a quarter of Flybe's managed fleet will be performing contract work.
Flybe chief Jim French says the pact is "testament to our established and growing reputation for the provision of high quality regional aviation services".
