Regional operator Flybe Group is to merge its operations into a single structure, by bringing together its UK operator and its third-party contract flying division.
The company is undertaking a review of its business under new chief executive Saad Hammad.
Flybe says the review will be completed in November. But it states that the company will benefit from a "unified and lower-cost operational approach".
It had already opted, earlier this year, to reduce its corporate structure to two divisions: Flybe UK and Flybe Outsourcing Solutions.
But the company says this structure will be "disbanded" and the services will be integrated into a single "simpler" operating unit. The managing directors of both divisions left their positions earlier this month.
Flybe UK handles all scheduled services by the regional carrier conducted from the UK, while Flybe Outsourcing Solutions dealt with all third-party customer operations including contract flying and maintenance.
