Flydubai is set to expand its central and eastern European network with new services to Bucharest and Skopje.
The airline will start thrice weekly flights to Bucharest on 1 October, before adding one additional frequency on 28 October.
It will also launch twice weekly services to Skopje on 18 October.
According to Innovata schedules, the airline will be the first to operate on the Dubai-Skopje route, while it will compete with TAROM on the Bucharest route.
The airline says that its expansion in central and eastern Europe follows a marked increase in visitor numbers to Dubai from the region.
The latest figures from Dubai Airports revealed a year-on-year increase of more than 35% during the first four months of 2012.
