Proposed UK start-up Flyforbeans' chief, Tim Lee, has resurfaced at Middle Eastern wet-lease specialist Silver Air, as the company's commercial director.

Lee, who was also Asian carrier Tiger Airways' finance director, had formerly been leading the project to establish a low-cost airline at Cardiff in Wales.

Dubai's Silver Air, which operates a Boeing 737 fleet, has identified Lee's as being among a number of new senior appointments.

These also include Capt Peter Larsen as director of flight operations, Capt Lars Sondergaard as director of training, and Paulo Rodriguies as director of ground operations, located at Silver Air's Ras Al Khaimah base.
