Canadian completions and maintenance specialist Flying Colours is preparing to deliver three customised Bombardier Challenger 850 business jets to private customers in mainland China and Hong Kong during the second quarter of the year, bringing the tally of VIP-configured 850s in the region to seven.
The 13-15-seat aircraft have undergone completion at Flying Colours' facilities in Peterborough, Ontario, and Chesterfield, Missouri, USA, with each type taking about eight months to finish. A further five 850s are in the pipeline, all destined for China-based clients, says Flying Colours.
