Frontier Airlines traffic dips 5% in April

Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines has reported a 5% year-on-year decrease in traffic in April.

Capacity for the month dipped 7%, while passenger numbers decreased 10% to 1.07 million. The load factor for the month increased by two percentage points to 86%.

On a year to date basis, traffic increased 1%, while capacity fell 3%.

Passenger numbers decreased 4% to 4.26 million, as the load factor grew four percentage points to 84%.
