Frontier Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, is boosting service with five new destinations from its two man hubs in Denver and Milwaukee. Service from Denver to Louisville and Green Bay started effective April 19, with service to Branson, Missouri set to begin April 20. Seasonal service from Milwaukee to San Francisco and San Diego also began today.
Frontier will add frequencies in key markets, including a third daily nonstop flight between Denver and New York's LaGuardia Airport.
Republic officials said the launch of the five routes is part of a 17-market expansion planned for this spring and summer. It claims to be the "fastest-growing major airline in the US", with a projected increase of 7% in seat miles this year. Last week, the company announced that Frontier Airlines would be the consolidated brand for Frontier and Midwest Airlines.
