Frontier Airlines plans to launch new flights from Kansas City to Houston Hobby and Las Vegas beginning 1 November.

The carrier is operating Embraer E-190 aircraft in both markets, with a daily roundtrip flight to Las Vegas and one daily roundtrip from Kansas City to Houston. Frontier's schedule also shows a single Kansas City-Houston flight on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and a return Houston-Kansas City leg on Mondays, Fridays Saturdays.

Schedules in the Innovata database indicate no carrier flies between Hobby and Kansas City, but United-Continental regional carrier ExpressJet offers multiple nonstop flights from Houston Intercontinental.

In the Kansas City-Las Vegas market, Continental offers ample nonstop service from Houston Intercontinental, while Southwest has numerous flights from Houston Hobby to Las Vegas.

Frontier is also expanding to a fifth gate in Terminal C in Kansas City, said the carrier.
