Frontier Airlines plans to add non-stop seasonal service between Denver and Punta Cana from 9 June.

The low-cost carrier will operate on the route once a week until 4 August. This service will take the number of non-stop Frontier routes from Denver to 68.

Separately, the airline will double its current non-stop service between Denver and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos to twice weekly from 23 May to 8 August.

"With the launch of service to Punta Cana, Frontier will be the only carrier offering nonstop service from Denver to the Dominican Republic," says David Siegel, president and chief executive officer of Frontier.
