Denver-based Frontier Airlines will halve the frequency of its flights between Denver and New York LaGuardia to accommodate new service to Cleveland.
The airline announced on 16 June that it will launch non-stop flights between Cleveland and LaGuardia from 26 October, as it continues to expand from the city in Ohio.
Frontier now operates twice daily to Denver from LaGuardia, a slot-constrained airport. An airline spokesperson tells Flightglobal that the airline will continue serving Denver and "retain the most customer preferred timings in the Denver-LGA market".
The airline will operate six times weekly between LaGuardia and Cleveland. After Frontier begins service to Cleveland, it will operate only once daily to Denver, the airline's flight schedules show.
